Because the game uses hexagon grid, you can see hexagon tiles light up when you hover your cursor over the diggable area.Ĭlicking on a tile in the diggable area turns it yellow, indicating that this tile needs to be dug out. If you have no ant and no food, a queen worker will be spawned for free to help revive the colony. The 7 queen workers can do anything that normal workers can do. Workers will be prevented from gathering and attacking when they are assigned with nest jobs. Nest jobs include digging, building and spawning, an they will be done in this paticular order. They only do the nearest jobs if they are put in other pheromone groups. They work automatically when they are put in nest group. Workers can do nest jobs but soldiers can't. It is also immune to all disrupting effects and all repositioning effects. Your queen can do absolutely nothing but laying eggs.
You can't build, delete or upgrade queen tiles. The queen tiles act as both brood tiles and food storage tiles, which can hold 10 food each. You usually start a freeplay game or mission with a queen and 3 workers.
